Renovated “Ocean Nova” Vessel

One of the two ice vessels that do the great Air-Cruise Programmes in the Antarctic, the Ocean Nova, has been subject to a general overhaul. Now, she is gleaming in her new splendour and ready for the upcoming Antarctic Season.

The improvements include a new auxiliary engine, a new anchor and anchor cables to make the vessel even more secure in the most extreme weather conditions, and a new coat of paint. Inside, there are brand new chairs in the Panorama Lounge, new floor covers and onboard cameras. There are new dividers in the triple cabins in order to provide more privacy for passengers. The zodiacs have also been equipped with new floors.
