This tour takes visitors to gastronomic, cultural and scenic jewels of Chile while exploring the contrasting country with the world’s driest desert in the north and its glaciers in the south. Guests will experience colourful sunsets, endless salt lakes, water-spouting geysers and the world’s clearest starry skies in Atacama. Continue on to the cinematic landscape of the Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia. This trip is rounded off with first-class culinary delights, including dinner at Borago, one of the world’s best restaurants, and wine tasting at the foot of the Andes.

  • Itinerary

Day 1, 2 & 3: Santiago

Discover the city of Santiago with its historic and modern buildings, while you are welcomed with an excellent dinner in one of the 50 most renowned restaurants in the world. Head to the coast to visit Valparaíso and test your palate while learning all about winemaking on a guided tour in Casablanca Valley.

Day 4, 5 & 6: San Pedro de Atacama

Travel to the driest desert in the world and discover the unique beauty of Atacama. Be impressed by the seemingly endless salt lake Salar de Atacama. Enjoy the sight of deep blue lagoons against a volcanic backdrop and take the adventure to the water-spouting geyser El Tatio. At sunset, the desert offers a fascinating play of colours and at night you can observe the clearest starry sky in the world.

Day 7 & 8: Puerto Natales

Live the unique contrast of Chile and travel to the other end of the country to Patagonia. Stay for 2 nights at The Singular Patagonia, located on the shores of the Señoret Channel near Puerto Natales, and experience all that true Chilean Patagonia has to offer. Choose from expeditions to nearby glaciers and horseback riding on private ranches to adventurous treks provided by the hotel, while you are indulged with the rich Patagonian cuisine.

Day 9 & 10: Torres del Paine National Park

Immerse yourself even deeper in Patagonia and be impressed by the stunning landscapes of the Torres del Paine National Park, the 8th wonder of the world. Discover the species-rich flora and fauna and sail across lake Grey to admire the imposing glacier. Several short hikes enable you to reach the most beautiful viewpoints in the park.

Day 11 & 12: Maipo Valley

Spent your final 2 nights in Chile in a perfect place to relax and disconnect: Las Majadas Hotel located in Maipo Valley. Enjoy the outdoors in this magical and inspiring place surrounded by ancient trees, pools of water and walking paths.

Day 13: Departure from Santiago

Or extend your stay in Chile with a trip to the magical Easter Island.

  • Itinerary with accommodation, transfers, excursions, and guide services as indicated (subject to availability).
  • Bed & Breakfast (If passengers have to leave the hotel before 7:00am due to an early flight or excursion, no full breakfast will be served. There will be no price reduction from the hotel.). Hotel availability is subject to confirmation at the time of reservation. In case of no availability, there may be the need to book another hotel category at a higher cost. In this case the client will be contacted immediately.

  • In case of no-show or cancellation outside the cancellation penalty period, 19% VAT must be paid in addition to the room rate.

  • Additional services required due to itinerary changes in case of emergency or force majeure.

Important:

    • On public holidays it might become necessary to change the itinerary slightly.
    • In Chile most museums are closed on Mondays.
    • During the “Bolivian Winter” or “Andean Winter” (December to March) heavy rainfalls can occur in northern Chile, which may lead to road closures. In such cases, our excursions may suffer changes or even cancellations, so that we might have to adjust the travel itinerary on short notice.
