Our travelArt team recently set out to experience selected hotels, wineries and culinary offerings in the Casablanca Valley and Valparaíso first-hand. Fam trips like this are an important part of our product development: they allow us to review existing products, discover new options and provide our partners with even more targeted advice when planning their Chile programs.
Wine & Culinary Experiences in the Casablanca Valley
Several renowned wineries were on the itinerary in the Casablanca Valley. At Viñamar, known for its wines and particularly its sparkling wines, the team gained insights into the facilities and the winery’s wine tourism offerings.

Kingston
Casas del Bosque, one of the best-known wineries in the Casablanca Valley, is particularly renowned for its exceptional cool-climate wines. The winery offers a comprehensive wine experience, combining tastings with culinary offerings.
William Cole Vineyards was another stop on the fam trip, presenting an attractive alternative for visitors looking for exclusive wine experiences and high-quality wines.
The visit to Estancia El Cuadro showed that Casablanca has much more to offer than wine alone. Over lunch, the team experienced a combination of rural surroundings, gastronomy, nature and Chilean traditions.
The program also included a site inspection at Hotel Lagunillas BCW , set amid the landscapes of the Casablanca Valley and particularly suited to guests looking to combine tranquility with easy access to the region’s wineries.

Valparaíso: Hotels, Gastronomy & the Famous Hills
The fam trip then continued to Valparaíso. During a walk through the port city’s characteristic hills, the team experienced its distinctive atmosphere, architecture and cultural identity.

AYCA La Flora
Several site inspections also provided an up-to-date look at different hotel concepts in the city, including Palacio Astoreca, AYCA La Flora and Hotel Fauna.
Gastronomy was also part of the program, with visits including Maleza restaurant and a group lunch at Oda Pacífico.
The fam trip once again showed our team just how many ways Casablanca and Valparaíso can be incorporated into Chile programs, from wine and gastronomy to boutique hotels, nature, culture and local experiences.
At the same time, the trip gave us the opportunity to evaluate existing products first-hand and discover new possibilities suited to the individual profiles and expectations of different travelers. Most importantly, these up-to-date, first-hand impressions and experiences allow us to advise our partners even more effectively and recommend the products best suited to their clients.
