The MICHELIN Guide has released its 2026 hotel selection: 20 hotels in Chile have been awarded one, two or three MICHELIN Keys. Considered the hotel equivalent of the renowned MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, the distinction recognizes properties that stand out for aspects such as their individual character, design, service and exceptional guest experience.
The awarded hotels are located across some of Chile’s most important travel destinations, from the Atacama Desert and Rapa Nui to Santiago, Chile’s wine country and the far south.

CHILOÉ, PUERTO VARAS & THE LAKE DISTRICT
On Chiloé, Refugia Chiloé received two Keys. Inspired by the surrounding landscape and local architecture, the contemporary hotel offers ocean views and opportunities to explore the archipelago. Hotel AWA near Puerto Varas and the nature-focused Futangue Hotel & Spa were each awarded one MICHELIN Key. andBeyond Vira Vira near Pucón also received one Key. The hacienda combines nature experiences in Chile’s Lake District with high-quality cuisine and individually tailored activities.
ELQUI VALLEY
In the Elqui Valley, Casa Molle, a small resort surrounded by the green landscapes near Vicuña, was awarded two MICHELIN Keys.
RAPA NUI
With two MICHELIN Keys, Explora Rapa Nui ranks among the island’s distinguished properties. The hotel combines its secluded location with an extensive selection of guided explorations of Rapa Nui’s archaeological and cultural sites.
