A group of our travelArt colleagues recently returned from an unforgettable FAM trip through Chile’s stunning Lake District, showcasing the natural beauty, cultural richness, and seamless logistics of this popular route, insights they are excited to share with you!
The next stop was Frutillar, a picturesque village known for its waterfront theatre, colorful gardens, and tranquil atmosphere, a true highlight for culture-loving travelers.
This route, combining boat rides and bus transfers, is a must for any traveler seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Patagonia.
The adventure concluded with a full-day excursion to Chiloé Island, famous for its wooden churches, palafitos (colorful stilt houses), and rich mythology. Our team explored several towns, including Dalcahue, Castro, and Ancud, enjoyed traditional cuisine, and discovered the unique spirit of this magical island.
During the trip, the team also visited various hotels in Puerto Varas, Bariloche, and Chiloé, gaining first-hand impressions of different accommodation options. These visits offered valuable insights into the quality, service, and ambiance our guests can expect in each destination.
During their stay in Chile, the group was hosted at the Radisson Hotel and Cabañas del Lago in Puerto Varas. In Bariloche, they stayed at the NH Edelweiss, enjoying warm hospitality and great views in both destinations.
The hotel enjoys a privileged location right on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, while being in the heart of the town. Beautifully designed, the hotel features a spacious and modern interior with plenty of space to relax. A particular highlight is the lounge area, offering stunning views of the lake. Guests can choose between stylish, spacious rooms with views of either the town or the lake.
Hotel Cabañas del Lago
The hotel is located on Lake Llanquihue in Puerto Varas, just a five-minute walk from the town center. With wooden design elements, it offers a cozy, rustic atmosphere and stunning views of the lake and Osorno Volcano from many rooms, the restaurant, and the terrace.
Hotel NH Edelweiss
Located in the center of Bariloche, NH Edelweiss offers modern comfort just a short walk from the lake and main attractions. The hotel features cozy rooms, a rooftop pool with panoramic views, and a restaurant serving Patagonian cuisine, an ideal base for exploring the city and its surroundings.
