A group of our travelArt colleagues recently returned from an unforgettable FAM trip through Chilean Patagonia, experiencing its breathtaking landscapes firsthand, and they’re excited to share their insights with you!

Punta arenas groupTour punta arenasThe itinerary offered a rich blend of cultural, natural, and adventure experiences.

The trip began with a panoramic city tour of Punta Arenas, providing an overview of the city’s history, architecture, and coastal charm.


They then visited Parque del Estrecho, home to the historic Fuerte Bulnes, where they enjoyed hiking along scenic trails with panoramic views of the Strait of Magellan. On the way to Puerto Natales, the team stopped at the recently renovated Hotel and Restaurant Río Rubens, a popular spot for coffee and refreshments that also offers charming rooms decorated in authentic Patagonian style.

The journey continued with a scenic navigation to Balmaceda Glacier and Serrano Glacier, including a stop at Estancia Perales for a traditional Patagonian lamb lunch.




La estancia peralesLocated 51 km from Puerto Natales, on the shores of the Última Esperanza Fjord and at the foot of the majestic Prat Mountain, Estancia Perales offers stunning views and an authentic taste of Patagonia.

From there, the group headed toward Torres del Paine National Park, one of the world’s most spectacular natural landscapes.


Another highlight of this trip was the visit to Tierra de Ovejeros, discovering the daily life of shepherds and gaining insight into rural Patagonian traditions. The ranch is strategically located, a short distance from the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park.

MilodónThe trip concluded with the Milodón excursion, a fascinating visit to the site where prehistoric remains were discovered, offering both history and stunning scenery.

During the trip, the team also visited several hotels in Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, and Torres del Paine National Park, gaining first-hand impressions of the various accommodation options. These visits provided valuable insights into the quality, service, and ambiance that guests can expect at each destination.
