(more) The reason for this new regulation is the strongly growing tourism, which increasingly influences the lives of the islanders and leads to ecological challenges, too. This law applies to all foreign and Chilean travelers. Only the indigenous Rapa Nui population and officially registered islanders are excluded from this regulation.<\/p>\n<p>Conditions to enter Easter Island are:<\/p>\n<p>Return ticket<br \/>\npassport<br \/>\nCopy of the return ticket from the island<br \/>\nSubmission of the registration form FUI<\/p>\n<p><strong>All travelers visiting Easter Island will be required to complete the registration form (Formulario \u00danico de Ingreso &#8211; FUI) at the Latam check-in desk.<\/strong> Every traveler must have this stamped at the Polic\u00eda de Investigaciones (PDI). A corresponding switch of the PDI is located near the Latam check-in.
