Their traditions are gaining increased attention, including in the tourism sector.<br \/>\nIn Santiago, for example, a city tour is offered in which the city\u2019s story is told from the perspective of the locals who lived there prior to the Spanish conquest. The tour also boasts a tasting of typical dishes from the Mapuche culture.
