ALMA is the result of a cooperation between Europe, the USA, Canada, East Asia, and Chile. Here, scientists investigate the \u201cbirth\u201d of stars and get a closer look at the origin of the universe. Until now, access was only for scientists. We are happy to announce that from now on, a group of tourists can visit ALMA every Saturday and Sunday morning.  The tours depart from Santiago, where guests are picked up by a special ALMA bus which brings them to the ALMA facility, about 50 km away.
