In March and April there are many wine festivals in the central valleys, where visitors can try a variety of grapes and local cuisine. Of course, traditional games, handicraft shows and the coronation of a local \u201cwine queen\u201d cannot be missed. Many wineries offer special tours during this time, such as \u201charvest tours,\u201d where guests can closely witness the making of a vintage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are Chjile\u00b4s most important wine festivals:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Colchagua Valley:<\/strong> March 6th-8th in Santa Cruz. Try rather exotic grapes such as Mourv\u00e8dre, Carignan, Garnacha and Petit Verdot.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Curic\u00f3 Valley:<\/strong> March 19th-22th in Curic\u00f3. Chile\u2019s most popular wine festival. Jordania is this year\u2019s guest of honor, and adds some exotic flair to the festival.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Casablanca Valley:<\/strong> April 11th-12th. This wine festival is held for the third time.
