\nIf you want the most sustainable accommodation in Chile’s capital, Bidasoa is a good choice. The modern hotel in the upscale Vitacura district is considered one of the most sustainable hotels in Latin America. The building was constructed to be as energy-efficient as possible: It uses aerothermal energy and does not use fossil fuels to heat or cool the rooms. It has solar panels, a water treatment plant and a waste incinerator that produces gas from organic waste. The cars they use for their guests are hybrid cars.<\/p>\n
