Pan de Az\u00facar National Park<\/p><\/div>\n

New exciting routes await you in the Coquimbo region, where you can visit historical sites, observe endemic flora and fauna and taste local products from land and sea.<\/p>\n

On the Copper Route (Ruta del Cobre) <\/strong>you will learn more about the history of the extraction of Chile’s most important raw material and visit Guayac\u00e1n and Tongoy, Chile’s first copper export ports.<\/p>\n

The so-called rural route (Ruta rural)<\/strong> takes you to the Pan de Az\u00facar National Park, the historic former railway station Las Cardas and the farm Hacienda El Tangue.<\/p>\n

The bird route (Ruta de las aves)<\/strong> is perfect for wildlife watching enthusiasts. The wetlands of Tongoy and Culebr\u00f3n and the coast are home to more than 100 different species of birds that can be observed.<\/p>\n

The spectacular route of the bay of Guanaqueros (Ruta de la bah\u00eda de guanaqueros)<\/strong> will take you to 12 places of interest where you will discover the fauna, flora and history of the location. During a boat trip you will get to know more about the life of the fishermen of Guanaqueros.<\/p>\n
