The grounds of the Altiplanico Rapa Nui are located in a tranquil spot, 4km\/2mi from the centre of Hanga Roa, and just a short distance from the sea. The idea behind its construction was to set new standards for Easter Island\u2019s hotel sector. The tastefully equipped rooms are housed in individual cabins, built after the design of the original Rapa Nui boat houses, and surrounded by a traditional garden of \u2018Manuvai\u2019: stone circles common to the island, lined with palms, citrus trees, pineapple plants, banana trees and flowers.
