The famous Carretera Austral crosses the park for about 40 kilometers, making it easily accessible to visitors. A part of the more than 150,000 hectares of grounds yet is still unexplored. The National Park is characterized by dense evergreen forests, lakes and glaciers. The most famous attraction is the &#8220;Hanging Glacier&#8221; (Ventisquero Colgante), which flows down from the Cerro Alto Nevado, ending in a spectacular waterfall.
