Starting next December 7th, United Airlines will offer daily flights from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston to Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago de Chile. The Houston–Santiago flight designation will be #847, with an evening departure and an arrival in Santiago the following morning. The flight from Chile to Houston (#846) will similarly depart each evening and arrive early the next morning in the U.S. The route will be flown with a Boeing 767-300, providing a total of 214 seats in three different seating categories. With this route expansion, United is making destinations for passengers flying from the U.S. to Latin America even more accessible.
