Torres del Paine National Park Voted “8th Wonder of the World”

The unique landscape of Torres del Paine National Park features bright blue lakes, huge glaciers, rushing waterfalls and, of course, the distinctive granite peaks of the Torres themselves. Recently, the park was voted the “8th Wonder of the World” by the users of VirtualTourist.com, receiving five million votes and leaving behind the 300 other destinations in 50 countries that also competed for the title.
We agree! Torres del Paine National Park, the jewel of Chilean Patagonia, is truly worth travelling any distance to visit, and we’re happy that so many world travellers think so too! The park is an ideal destination, perfect for everything from week-long deep-country backpacking treks to day trips via tour bus – and everything in between. It features a growing range of well-designed amenities and accommodations, from spartan to luxurious, and its vast spaces and wide vistas easily support its high-season popularity.
