Las Condes boasts the only Ritz-Carlton in South America. For years, its guests have enjoyed impeccable service and top quality accommodations, a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of Santiago. The fully glazed pool on the top floor offers a special place to wind down, and the hotel rooms have recently been redecorated with a simple, yet regal, aesthetic. One of the hippest luxury hotels in Santiago, Mandarin Oriental Santiago is redesigning all its guest rooms and public areas. Currently run under the name Hotel Santiago, it offers a new design, modernized ambience, and pleasant outdoor facilities with a Japanese restaurant and excellent service. When the extensive renovation works are completed in January 2019, the hotel will officially open as the first Mandarin Oriental in the Western Hemisphere.
Our colleagues also looked at the newly opened Hotel Hyatt Centric. With a stylish, contemporary design and a touch of local craftsmanship, the hotel offers spacious rooms, pleasant public lounges and good service. The roof terrace is being extended to include a bar. A cool Pisco Sour in the Chilean evening sun and overlooking the city will soon be the perfect way to end one’s stay at this hotel.
Of note, all hotels offer sweeping views of Santiago and the nearby Andes Mountains from the rooms on the higher floors and rooftop terraces.
