The Hotel Casa Silva, located at the entrance of the homonymous Colchagua Valley winery, has opened its doors after almost two years of closure. A fire destroyed the director’s house in 2014, who occupied the hotel during reconstruction, leaving it unavailable. The hotel was originally the family home of the winery owners and is located next to the winery’s bodega. The Casa Silva family winery is not only the oldest winery in the Colchagua Valley, but also one of the most beautiful due to its historic vaulted cellar. Each of the seven rooms is individually decorated. Colourful and comfortable, they keep the spirit of old times alive. At the Casa Silva winery, guests can enjoy wine tastings, visit polo games or rodeo shows, get to know the vineyards with a romantic carriage ride, or just indulge themselves in the winery’s restaurant with fine international dishes and the best of Chilean cuisine.
