The Grand Hyatt Santiago has just launched their sustainable project “Urban bee keeping”. At Grand Hyatt Santiago, they have 4 hives that house more than 300,000 bees, which help pollination, a fundamental process for our planet. The honey collected is served in the restaurant Senso at breakfast time direct from the honeycomb and also make exquisite preparations based on honey. This project was created by our executive chef Matias Uhlig in conjunction with Katharina Wittmann, a beekeeping company that came from Germany to create Santiago City Bees. The first hotel in Latin America with this project. Very happy and proud to be able to contribute to the environment. Well done!
