A new innovative dinner show will be available for Santiago guests in the coming season at the restaurant “De Pablo a Violeta,” located in the popular nightlife district of Bellavista. This new restaurant combines Chilean upscale cuisine with a journey through Chile’s culture, allowing guests not only to watch, but also to participate. The concept is based on an interesting anecdote in which Pablo Neruda, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, and musician Violeta Parra, wanted to open a restaurant together. Pablo was to take care of the cuisine, Violeta would be responsible for the entertainment.
The heart of the restaurant is the theatre, where guests will be served dinner during the show. On the way to the theatre guests will pass several rooms, where they will be greeted with a drink before being taken on a journey through this long and diverse country via traditional Chilean music and dances. The atmosphere is relaxed and interactive, like being at a party with friends – you can even join the dancers!
“De Pablo a Violeta” offers all of Chile in one night: traditions of the Atacameños, passionate dances from Easter Island, and gauchos playing guitar while guests are served Patagonian lamb on the spit.
