Flights to and from the city of Temuco (ZCO) in southern Chile are being operated from the new airport “Aeropuerto La Araucanía”, effective immediately. This airport is located about 20 km south of Temuco. The old “Maquehue” airport will be shut down. This change does not affect the flight schedule.
The Brazilian airline Gol will resume flights from Sao Paolo – Santiago which have been suspended since October 2012. There will be daily flights in both directions on Boeing 737 aircraft with capacity for 177 passengers.
